Kids & Home vs. Job!

my_bannerI just could not believe what the doctor was telling me. My son, an autoimmune disease, how in the world could this be. I don’t believe it. Every week I have to drive my son to the doctor for blood work and every two weeks take him to the hematologist/oncologist for a once over. He looks so normal, acts normal, eats normal but the reality is that his immune system is destroying him. What makes that happen? As I sat reflecting on all this new information I realized how blessed I am to be able to Stay At Home Mom Business and be available to do all this running back and forth every week. Moms really need to be able to be home so they can deal with the speed bumps that life has before us. Just when we think we have it all figured out, in comes one from left field. I could not imagine having to deal with the stress of my son’s diagnosis and have to go to a job and deal with that stress as well. As moms we need to research and try to do whatever necessary to stay home and care for our children instead of having to drop them off somewhere for a daycare to do it. This is the most important job that was ever created and we need to put our all into it. They grow up to quickly.

I totally understand your frustration with having a sick child, as mine also has an autoimmune disease. My daughter has Hashimoto’s Disease. It is such a peace of mind having my home business with Women’s Dream Team as I can take time when my child NEEDS me, not when a boss feels like letting me.

The greatest part of sharing this business with other women, is the joy I get from watching their relieved eyes, opening wide to the possibility of staying home with their children.
