Working Through The Recession
There’s a lot of talk in the current political and economic climate about unemployment and the difficulty of finding work within this job market. And many people on the job hunt right now can attest to that difficulty. Companies everywhere are starting to buckle down and cut back, and this can make job opportunities look scarce for just about anyone. And now combine the effects of the recession with a sometimes present bias towards women in the workforce, and this can be a downright difficult environment for any woman looking for new business ventures.
But business opportunities for women aren’t necessarily as bleak as they seem. Women just need to utilize an even more organized plan of attack in this environment. Instead of hitting the general classifieds, look instead for opportunities that are specific to women. The key to finding a job is being able to fulfill an employer’s specific needs. And when the jobs themselves are scarce, there’s nothing wrong with exploiting your specialized characteristics or skills. This could include everything from gender to your education level.

Adding to the challenge in the job hunt today,is not only the biases women often face, but the particular predjudices often faced by older women, and minority women. That’s what I love about Women’s Dream Team and that which it affords—TRULY equal opportunity, because we are made up of every conceivable age, ethnic background, educational background, and circumstances!
I love it!

I love working with the Women’s Dream Team as it provides women of all backgrounds a way to create residual income for women. That means that I have online business for women that is done from my home office that is allowing me to supplement my income monthly. Best of all I am eliminating the stress created by not knowing what the current recession will bring my way but I know that I am on the road to financial freedom.

The Women’s Dream Team is definitely the way for any woman to be spared from the crutches of the recession. We have a way to make a great income or supplement another income. Our company is growing larger every year as we watch so many companies failing and careers being lost. I love the security we have with our home based business.

As a pregnant woman looking for a job it is even harder, no one wants to hire someone they will have to replace in a few months. I am so glad I can work from home with an amazing gorup of women entrepreneurs and not be out in the trenches looking for work right now!

I went to a local hardware store and while I was trying to find an attendant to check me out there was a man standing behind me with a load of lumber. We both asked to be checked out and was advised there were no attendants. I asked where did they all go………..”We had to cut back” the young man said. The man behind me said, “How can I check myself out self serve with all this lumber”? The employee said, “I do not know sir you will have to check yourself out!” Wow! This is the first time I realized that the recession is definitley in full force and customer service was not even a component of their business. They were just trying to survive like so many businesses. In hard times it is a lesson in counting on yourself. Operating a home based business is not a dream it is a reality in today’s workforce. As a matter of fact, working from home is the “new workforce”! As a retired woman who really wanted to see a more comfortable retirement (my real retirement) in my later years I now needed to focus on not hitting the pavement looking for the right job…………it was here in my own home. Our country is headed towards economic disaster. I was going to be part of the solution and work from home. You can do it!

Jackie, your comment of “You can do it!” has so much meaning. Yesterday, I received my 1st commission check from the Womens Dream Team home business. My husband opened it while I was on the phone. I thought he was going to choke when he saw that it was over $800 for a few weeks of part time work getting my business started from home. Any doubt that he previously had about this opportunity was totally erased after he saw that check!

That’s awesome Carla! Welcome to the TEAM!
Since being a relatively newcomer – perhaps you could add some light on how easy this home based business for women really is! The economy is causing people to leave their lifelong careers and start something totally new and different. Going back to college and re-educating oneself is NOT an option for most. I think the fact that this really is an easy business to learn makes it incredibly desirable in these tough times.

Carla, that’s great – good for you! Since I’m a “newbie” too, that’s great inspiration!

Anna, I would love to share with others how easy it is to be successful in the Womens Dream Team Home Business Opportunity! First….Believe in yourself and your dreams.
Second…Don’t let non-believers discourage you. Follow the Team support and training information and you will succeed!
Third……The effort you put in today will pay off tomorrow and every month after that.
Success feels so good!

Things are definitely tough out there. Sometimes, as women, we feel like we have to put on a certain persona to impress potential employers or take a job that we really don’t care for just to make ends meet. Well, I want to be myself and I want to enjoy what I do. That’s what I love about the Women’s Deam Team. The work that we do and what we stand for is amazing. Lives are changing, people are living healthier, debts are being paid off, and women and their families are obtaining the financial freedom to be together. It’s amazing!

Finding new ways to do things, innovative and creative solutions to challenges is pretty much a way of life for most women, I think, operating in our multi-tasking roles of daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, doggie-mom (I am one, so this is important!) friend or landscape designer! It’s a natural progression then, for many of us to become women entrepreneurs, where initiative, leadership qualities and hard work lead to the personal success and financial freedom we deserve.
