Navigating to a higher Level
Living in a river city, I’ve learned a little about the workings of commerce and traffic on a busy waterway like the Allegheny. To get a boat around a dam large or small, locks are used. A tugboat comes into the lock from a lower elevation below a dam,the lock is filled with water, and the boat and its barges are lifted to the higher level,so it can chug away from the lock, going on its own pace up the river.
What does this have to do with women entrepreneurs?
Time leverage and flexibility allows you to start your Women’s Dream Team home based business even while you still have your current job. That job is like the lock. Working with our team and getting started is compared to the water filling the lock. When your business goals are near to being reached, and you are getting to a “higher level” financially, you can leave the “lock”,and sail on your way to a higher level of security and flexibility! Not to mention being able to work from home!
If you are working with Women’s Dream Team, what comparisons have YOU found?”

Cindy – I love a good analogy and this one really works for me. I can’t think of an original one of my own right now, but I accept your challenge and will start pondering!
In the meantime, let me say this is such a BONUS of being with the Women’s Dream Team, sharing creative ideas and stretching a little too, and getting to know women from everywhere and every walk of life. It’s a pleasure to say I’m part of a group of impressive women entrepreneurs!

This was a great analogy ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Yes I am working with the Team and can comment that I have the time to build my dreams at my pace. It does not matter how long it takes you to get their , the important issue is that you got there! This is a rare opportunity to build at your own pace and have nothing but success to show for it. Thank you Women’s Dream Team!

The analogy described immediately takes me way, way back(LOL) to my first “real” corporate job. I worked there for 13 years and for the last 5 of those years, I was miserable. I began to have a recurring dream (nightmare) that I had gotten locked up in the building at night and could not get out. This dream was terrifying. Well, I did something about it – found another job that I enjoyed much better. Now after so many years of corporate America, I am having the same locked in feeling though not the horrible dream:-) I am yearning for more “me” time, more freedom, flexibility, more of “me” calling my own shots, having control of my own destiny. I was led to this incredible group of women entreprenuers who are working from home and loving everything about it. I find such peace in being a part of this wonderful work from home team. I can’t think of any other business that you can work from home part time or full time, your choice, get awesome support and call your own shots while embarking upon the road to financial freedom and flexibility!!!
