Hopefully you will survive Black Friday with only minor scrapes and bruises.  If you paced yourself, and saved some energy for the weekend, you should consider this fun Saturday outing with your family:

Every year, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we set out early in the morning to find the perfect tree.  If you’ve done your fair share of shopping, the day before, this is the perfect way to get away from the holiday traffic and the shopping malls.  We are very fortunate, where I am from, to live near some local tree farms.  We can pick a tree, cut it down ourselves, and come back to the barn for hot cocoa when we’re finished.  I think I shall enjoy this holiday season more than any other in the past.  For the two weeks that my children will be home this year, I will spend the holidays with them for the first time.  Thanks to my new online business for moms, I can work the hours I choose, and enjoy my children when it matters most.
