Passion is defined as a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for something. Working from home demands a strong passion for wanting to spend more time with our family, as well as, a passion to be in control of our finances and future. Many people want to stay home and work. Many people would love to have a job at home that would allow them time freedom and more money than they could ever make, but they lack passion. It takes a great deal of passion to make things happen. It’s easy to go to a job and punch a clock every day, but it takes a lot of effort to take the kids to day care or school, clean the house, cook the meals and find time to spend with your family afterwards. Why would anyone want to waste all that precious time and energy just trying to live life? Having a home business is so much easier. I have peace because I know where my kids are, I know that Ican make their appointments and still have my job. Knowing I am not too exhausted to play a game with them before bed means everything to me. If you are passionate about working from home, you can be in charge of your life.
For centuries, women have challenged the traditionally male-dominated arenas of business and politics – and the results have been stunning. Today, more women are in power than at any previous point in human history. Many of the most happy and successful women avoid a trip to the corporate boardroom altogether. Home based businesses for women provide a chance for significant financial gain.
The Internet represents one of the most transcendent marketing tools available. Women can find their niche – interior décor, designer handbags, carpentry, you name it – and provide products to their clients from the comfort of home. Online businesses are particularly useful for busy mothers who don’t have the time to work a 9 to 5 schedule.
Working from home is a wonderful way to be able to stay home with your kids and still contribute to the household income. One thing to remember is when you are working for yourself is that you will never climb to the top by yourself. It takes all cohesiveness of the team in order for you to grow your business. If your home based business ever becomes just about you, you will fail. You have to remember that it is all about “them”, the customers. Be conscience of their needs, their feelings and how you can create a optimal experience for them. Do you follow up with them regularly? Do you train them to grow their business properly? Are you available to them when they need you?
When you work for yourself means creating an atmosphere of success. Success is a choice and an attitude. You must lead by example. The speed of the leader is the speed of the pack. You can’t expect anything of your team that you aren’t willing to do yourself.
Have you ever watched a child mimic a parent knowing that whatever they do is the way life really is? Parents are the best teachers for their children. Kids are so smart these days they pick up on so much we do. You may not think it registers but it does! I have seen children manifest and reflect parent behavior among their own play groups.
If there is no other reason to have your own home based business I do not know what is. Imagine the benefit your child receives from watching your organizational skills, communicating , and problem solving with others. Children are learning the value of hard work to achieve their dreams. I have always thought of residual income and financial security going hand in hand in a successful womens home based business but I have never realized what an impact it has on future generations.
Children learn how to win and how to lose gracefully and when to accept the pitfalls even if only temporary. We are grooming a whole new generation of work at home business entrepreneur’s and do not even realize it. The next time your child asks while you are working at home and why you are so kind and so helpful and all that stuff helps you bring money into the home ……..tell them it is your legacy to them while they are growing up wondering what they want to be when they grow up.
Do not be surprised when they say, “I want to be just like my Mom”!

Women’s Dream Team is an amazing group of women who aspire to rise above the recession! We are here to help other women create wellness in personal, physical, environmental and financial facets of their lives The drive and strength of our team, comes from our founder, Marsha. Marsha recently was interviewed. Please click on the link to read what she has to say:
How many of you have a close relationship with someone who saves you thousands of dollars every year? If you are running a home business for women, and doing your own taxes, you could be throwing away your hard-earned money. I am educated in the field of accounting. However, the responsibility of staying current with the latest tax laws is a burden I am not equipped to manage. In years past, when I was an employee, I enjoyed the efficiency of tax preparation software. The interview-styled questions helped me understand my IRS form 1040. I even happily volunteered to help friends and neighbors complete their tax returns.

This year will be different. I own a home-based business. Even after my years of tax experience, I don’t trust my outdated knowledge, or my ability to navigate software, to the task of keeping every penny that I’m allowed. I’ll leave that job to the experts; those folks who must pay for continuing education classes every year, in order to get the most relevant information available. The same people who, this time of year, are working sixty to eighty hours per week. Do yourself a big favor and hire an expert this year. How much will it cost? Keep the reciept. You can deduct it as a 2010 business expense next year. Please remember one thing. When tax season is finished. Hug your accountant.
What are you goals?
What are you New Year’s Resolutions?
It is not too early to start thinking about how 2009 went and how you want 2010 to be. What you need to do is:
* write down your resolutions so that you can be reminded of them.
* create an action plan (reasonable action plan) to reach them
* read your plan daily so you constantly are reminded of them (it takes many days to make it a habit, and isn’t that what we are really doing..creating a new habit)
* celebrate success! (even baby-steps)
If your goal is to have financial freedom…. consider going to www.WomensDreamTeam.biz and starting a home based business where you can earn residual income for women that can last a life time!

There are a lot of different approaches to making extra cash on the side, but often the most lucrative is a home based internet business. We’d all like to have a residual income on the side, but often the time investment is the most unappealing aspect. With a home based internet business, the time investment tends to be much lower than the average side or part time job. In addition, with a little dedication and knowhow, the internet business can become quite lucrative. People who can afford to invest themselves in a home internet business on a full time basis often find a viable source of income for all their expenses, though this does take dedication. Most home based internet businesses require just a little tending now and then to provide a residual income well worth the effort. There are a lot of tips and tricks that can help increase success as well.
When choosing a source of residual income, it’s important to do the research in advance to make sure the opportunity fits the schedule. The initial set up phase is the most important for these businesses, but often after the start up, the business runs itself and still remains profitable. And don’t think that it is just for men; there are plenty of opportunities for residual income for women too.
It is a tradition in my family to state what you are thankful for around the Thanksgiving dinner table.
I am thankful that I have a home based business where I can earn an residual income while raising my children.
What are you thankful for?
