It seems no matter who you talk to anymore, life seems to deal you a different future that what you thought it would. So going down your path sometimes ends up being totally different than what you thought it would be.
My husband was employed for 17 years with basically the same company. It changed owners but the same job and mostly the same people. Now, two weeks ago he was laid off. I was laid off in Dec. Good thing I really love my husband because we have been pretty much together 24/7. After 28+ years, you get kind of used to each other. (notice I said kind of) I want to stay at home. He is looking for a new career. Of course, like everyone else, he’s upset, he’s scared and he feels rejected. And he’s not even looked for a job yet! He just got his resume put together. So knowing what you want to do and then going out and making it happen takes strength and will power. Staying on course through life’s trials and tribulations is the part that makes us stronger and the people we are today. You always have to think positive and remember, everything happens for a reason, even when we don’t know why. And as the saying goes, one door closes, another one opens. Always look for the other door. I am so happy that I have an amazing home business with an amazing group of women entrpreneurs so that we can make it through this together.
