So, I’ve been thinking, what makes a great job? A great job to me at this point in my life is different than what a great job looked like 20 years ago, or 10 years ago, or even 2 years ago. But then, as I pondered this, I saw that the specifics changed, but the values were pretty constant.
I’ve always tried to find jobs that gave me the opportunity to use my strengths and shore up my weaknesses, learn something new, work in pleasant surroundings, meet my financial obligations, feel pride in my work, and be able to blend with all the other parts of my life. Simple, but usually at least one element remained elusive.
