Family Is So Important!

My days in the Corporate world always mystified me and unlike the Corporate world in countries such as France and England were urged to take one to two months off with pay for holiday. How can these countries in the Corporate world care more about their employees than the good ole USA.

The Corporate world was life changing because I realized that family must come first. I had no doubt I had reached the end of the line with my working days. I decided that working from home surely would create a solution for spending time with my family, and build financial freedom for my future. My husband works hard and I would like to see him kick back and enjoy the fruits of his labor. The Womens Dream Team gave me the opportunity to have a Womens Home Based Business and allocate my time to have a healthy balance of work and familly. My aging parents needed me. How would I care for them and build a monetary safety net in case I became the caretaker. In fact, by having my own home based business all things were possible. I have every possible tool at my disposal to become successful and create the financial freedom I need and desire and you know, family does come first!

Packing A Lunch Can Be Fun!

Packing your kids’ lunches for school is a great way to monitor the nutritional content of their meals.

09_05_15---Valentine-s-Day-Cake_web One fun thing to do is to put a note in your child’s lunch. The note can be an encouragement for an upcoming test, congratulations for doing well on a project, a cute little drawing, or simply “I Love You.”
Another idea is to buy some plain bags, and use stamps, markers and crayons to have your kids decorate their own lunch bags, or they can personalize their siblings’ lunch bags.

Kids love to dip their food because it gives pizzazz to regular items, such as carrots and apples. According to Lunchroom Monitor Survey, vegetables are second only to chicken nuggets when it comes to the favorite foods to dunk. So for dunking appeal, pack low-fat dressings and sauces with lunches.

These are some great ideas from registered dietitian, Jodie Shield, M.Ed.:
Revealed that older kids (age 11 to 12) prefer brown bags, while younger kids (age 8 to 10) prefer lunch boxes. Snack-size plastic baggies also are a great tool to have on hand to help teach kids about portion control and offer an easy way to stash kid-friendly snacks in knapsacks. These ideas work for home schoolers as well or if you are a woman entrepeneur and just want to have your little one eat at your desk.
